Pictures of Rita Hayworth (Rita Carmen Cansino). Actress in Hollywood Movies from 1935 through 1972.

Ten years ago I thought I had so many pictures of Rita there must not be any more - but I keep finding more and more - constantly! I want to share them with other people who are fascinated with Rita too.

Magazine covers of Rita Hayworth - all very similar .

They have used a picture taken  in the 1930s -probably 1939 - and placed it on a more recent magazine. (sorry for the poor reproductions - but I couldn’t find any better images.)

A rare candid shot behind the scenes of “You’ll Never Get Rich” - this is a rehearsal (in street clothes) for the ‘Wedding Cake Walk’ production number.  Rita Hayworth and Fred Astaire are standing in the center. (1941).

"THEN & NOW (1950)"
a page from ‘QUICK’ magazine, dated Nov 20, 1950 - showing Rita Hayworth as a starlet (c. 1936) and a love goddess movie queen in  1948.
The article was called” ‘Rita Hayworth: Does She Still Have Her Magic?” This article reported that there were “inside” rumors about her looking for a good script - one ‘rumor’  that sounded like a fastastic fantasy to me was: …”She’s now reading the script of a sequal to her highly successful GILDA”.
In 1950??? -   her baby was almost a yeart old - a movie ??-maybe???
